1993
Warner Bros.
Introducing Alicia Silverstone, co-starring Cary Elwes, Kurtwood Smith, Jennifer Rubin, Amber Benson.
A young writer moves into a picturesque estate's guest house. His landlady's daughter, 14-year-old Darian, becomes the unwanted center of attention who proceeds to sabotage his life after he refuses her sexual advances. She ruins him, his work and his girlfriend. If she can't have him, no one can. Considered a sort of Fatal Attraction (1987) for teenagers, the nasty little role wowed its target audience and won her the 1994 MTV Movie Award for "Best Villain" and "Breakthrough Performance". The film also caught the attention of Aerosmith, who hired her to appear in a string of their music videos. The first of them, "Cryin'", was voted the #1 video of all time on MTV.
